In the creation process of the work, I painted and cut out a butterfly with a golden sky background, burning the edges to create an aged look. This was to emphasize the prevalence of beauty and nature. I then pasted this in front of Charles Wordsworth's poem, "Daffodils", as I thought that the butterfly was a great symbol to illustrate the actual meaning of the poem, especially since Wordsworth believed in a similar idea: that poetry should explore the beauty of nature and the emotions with it.
